Walking trail: the swan circuit

Due to technical incidents beyond our control, we inform you that the Cygne route cannot be taken along the dike bordering the Rhine. At the end of the parking lot near the ferry, after the monument, you will now have to take the lower footbridge and continue along the VNF road towards Offendorf. A little after the Rossmoerder, on the right at the entrance of the Offendorf municipal forest, you will find the conventional route again. Start at the parking lot near the ferry.

Take the Rhine dike from where your view will plunge over the waters of the river and often on boats and barges, witnesses of human and economic exchanges, in the heart of Europe.

At the kilometer point 317, be sure to turn towards the forest and enjoy the majestic picture offered by the Rossmoerder, a paradise for fishermen and nature lovers.

After entering the forest, return to the right via the old dike where you can learn about the operation of the sewage treatment plant serving the municipalities of Drusenheim, Offendorf, Gambsheim, and Kilstett.

You can also extend your hike to the inter-municipal stele.

A glance at the old markers of the Navigation Service, at a blockhouse, or in the distance at the village steeple and you are already near a small pond on the left.

Through the discovery trail of the Rhine forest, its waterways, its hardwoods or softwoods, you will end your walk at the petanque field.
