Starting from the Gaschney parking lot, a small technical trail leads to the Hinterschallern slope (blue rectangle*). Climb up to Schallern and then cross the ski slopes to reach the Schiessroth inn (blue triangle).
Dive into the technical descent that takes you to the Schiessrothried lake (red rectangle) before returning to Gaschney (blue rectangle).
(*The trail courses mainly use the marked paths of the Vosges Club. In each sector, follow the corresponding symbol in the indicated direction.)
