This circuit runs through the North East end of Sundgau, which drops quite abruptly onto the alluvial plain of the Rhine. It allows you to discover Habsheim, an ancient town well known for its Simon and Jude autumn market. It is also a pleasant countryside spot where you can find preserved old orchards, a few vineyards that testify to the wealth of yesteryear, and offers beautiful views of the Hardt forest, Basel, the Black Forest, the Vosges, the Jura, and even sometimes the Alps.
