Departure from the picnic area of Sonnenberg in Oberbronn. Take a left and follow the blue rectangle towards the Ziegelberg Forest House. Upon arriving there, take the path following the red, white, red rectangle towards the Linsenthal Forest House. Continue to the Holdereck pass. Then take the GR53 (red rectangle) to the Ungerthal pass. Begin the descent towards Sonnenberg by following either the blue cross.
