Tour of Alsace by Bike

The Route
Starting from Strasbourg, the European capital, you will take the Canal de la Bruche Bike Path and its bucolic landscapes to reach the Alsatian vine foothills near Molsheim.

You will then wind along the picturesque Alsace Vineyard Bike Path, between seas of vines and orchards, passing through Obernai, Barr, Châtenois, Bergheim, Turckheim, Eguisheim, Rouffach, and Guebwiller before reaching Cernay.

You will cross the Alsatian potash basin and then join Mulhouse with its rich industrial heritage, making it the European capital of technical museums.
You will reach the Rhine at Niffer by following the peaceful Bike Path of the Rhône-Rhine Canal (Southern branch).

Finally, you will take the legendary EuroVelo15 – Rhine Bike Path to gently ride back to your starting point, discovering the typical landscapes of the Alsatian Ried with several beautiful stops in Ottmarsheim, Neuf-Brisach (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site), Marckolsheim, and Erstein.
