The village of Wisches is dominated by the picturesque chapel of St. Anthony, once a very popular pilgrimage site. According to a well-established belief, mothers would take their children who suffered from incontinence there. Forcing them to pull on the rope and ring the bell would free them from this troublesome tendency.
