This circuit, 21 km long with a 160m elevation gain, begins in the center of Waldighoffen and will allow you to discover the charms of rural Alsace in the South.
You will take the bike route of the Ill Valley and cross the picturesque village of Illtal, famous for its many typical half-timbered houses.
The bike path will then lead you to Bettendorf, from where you will follow the banks of the Willerbach, upstream along a peaceful agricultural road. You will then reach the commune of Willer, which is also rich in beautiful traditional farms.
The route continues on the ancient Roman road to Muespach, offering splendid views of the Vosges, the Jura, and the Black Forest along the way. The descent to Steinsoultz is made via a few white paths before returning quietly to Waldighoffen.
A bucolic and varied itinerary, perfect for a cycling getaway in the heart of Alsatian landscapes.
