Itinerary - The Grand Tour of the Valley - Stage 2

This new day unfolds between Labaroche and Orbey, two villages nestled in the mountains. The nature that surrounds them offers many unsuspected curiosities.

First, head towards the peaks of Grand and Petit Hohnack. On the first, you will see many atypical stones, and if you are curious, you might find the stones locally called "cuves des fées" or Hexenkessel. The second takes you back to the Middle Ages with its 12th-century medieval castle. Besides telling you its history, it will offer you a marvelous viewpoint.

Next, head to Orbey. The pastoral scenery of rivers and forests will follow one another.

Prepare to be amazed when you reach the last spot of this day: the Faudé Tower. Just like maritime destinations, we have our lighthouse. An iconic figure of the destination, this tower will give you height to appreciate your new progress and measure, in a bird's-eye view, the distance that separates you from the lakes, your next exploration.
