AzureThis walk goes back and forth along the same road. Departures and parking at the end of the very narrow and winding paved road leading to the Col du Petit Mont Cenis. From here it goes up and down along a wide slope. This slope climbs to a dam, then narrows into a path. After a flat stretch, there is another climb to the lake. From here you can continue to the Col Clapier which forms the border with Italy and where there is a new bivouac hut (September 2014). Very rugged landscape and some surprising views.
