Departure: Bergues
Starting from the magnificent fortified city of Bergues, this tour will allow you to discover a part of Maritime Flanders, marked by its network of canals and ditches (called "the wateringues") that prevent maritime waters from flooding these lands dried up by man during the twelfth century.
This loop will take you in turn in front of the riches of the Berguois heritage (the abbey Saint-Winoc, the fortifications long of 3500 m, the belfry registered with UNESCO ...) and its hinterland rich in several picturesque villages (West-Cappel, the "Heritage Village" of Warhem ...).
Lovers of nature or heritage, there is something for everyone!
