AzureCrisscrossing the Oise valley, this tour gives a foretaste of the riches of Thiérache. Starting from Guise, home of Camille Desmoulins (1760-1794) and Jean-Baptiste-André Godin (1817-1888), the walk allows you to discover the river heritage of the region, by taking the towpaths and locks, picturesque setting of the inland waterways of yesteryear. Then, on the second day, it is the turn of the rural heritage to take the stage: the farms and fortified churches that punctuate the circuit profile their imposing silhouettes between the hedgerows and the groves shading the valley.
