The first part of this ballad makes us sweat initially before we can enjoy the beauty of the Igues. It is the shared section with the GR 62B.
One certainly has to enter the Igue de Py to appreciate the full beauty. Even the steep cliffs encountered while descending are worth the effort.

Take your time to discover the fairytale shapes of the rocks.
Also, read the explanatory signs carefully.

The second part of the walk is relatively pastoral. You gently ascend to the heights of Aveyron before descending to the river itself.
You cross the river on a Romanesque bridge, which is worth a photo.

Departure at the village square, go left (+- towards the east) in the direction of Igues. The marking is not easily visible from the square, and one could get lost.
