Transpole Urban Trail

The Transpole Urban Trail is a long-distance walking route that connects the cities of the Lille agglomeration: from Mouscron through Tourcoing and Roubaix and via Villeneuve d'Ascq to old Lille. The route passes by dozens of gems of industrial archaeology, and sometimes through parks and forgotten green patches. It is just across the Belgian-French border and the four stations are on a direct train line from Antwerp via Ghent and Kortrijk to Lille (Lille Flandres). Lille, Tourcoing, and Roubaix are also connected by a metro line and two tram lines.
