Once you have passed the battle field on the right bank, the route follows the left river bank. The signs of combat from 1916 are still visible here, especially in the village of Cumières Le Mort Homme, which was completely destroyed. Seasoned cyclists can take a ride to the site of the Vélo Rail in Forges on the Maas. Finally, you will arrive at the cutural centre of Ipoustéguy, which is a must!
