Leaving Saint-Mihiel, you cycle along the left bank of the river on a fairly busy road before arriving on a greenway at Tilly sur Meuse as far as Ancemont. This area is classified Natura 2000. Look out for storks and their babies.
To go to the battlefield, leave the greenway at Bras sur Meuse and turn on your right towards the ‘battlefield’ signes - it's a steep climb!
