Description by the author

The freedom trail during World War II went from Saint-Girons (France) over the Pyrenees to Alis d'Isil (Spain). This route is an alternative by bike, which makes a bit of a detour to get to this destination. Well trained hikers are still doing this trail 'the short way', but the paths are not very clear and at many places dangerous.
