Beauvais is a northern French city about 100 kilometers north of Paris. The city owes its fame mainly to the imposing 13th-century Gothic Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, which has never been completely completed due to the unstable sandy surface and therefore creates a unique image. In addition, there are of course many other sights to see along the walk, of which the Musée departemental de l'Oise, the Place Jeanne Hachette and the Remparts gallo-romain are just a few that will be seen.
