Description by the author

Lourdes is the largest place of pilgrimage in France. It is a city in the south, located in the foothills of the Pyrenees. This walk takes you past the famous cave of Massabielle, but also along other sights in and around the town. Among other things, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, Château Fort de Lourdes and the birthplace of Saint-Bernadette will not be missing during this eight-kilometer walk. The route starts and ends at Lourdes train station.
