Description by the author

The Mont Sainte-Odile is a 760m high mountain in Alsace. On top of the mountain is a beautiful monastery. Discover the mountain with this 15.5km long walk. The route starts and ends at the parking of the monastery. To a large extent the route follows the Mur Païen (Heathen Wall), an impressive 10 km long wall that encircles the mountain. In addition to the monastery, there are other castles and fortresses along the route including Burg Rathsamhausen.
