Description by the author

This route starts in Lusigny-sur-Barse, a village in the south of the Champagne region. The route follows the Canal de Restitution beyond the village of Courteranges. From here the route goes east, through the wooded area, to the Lac d'Orient. You now follow the lake a bit to where the dam starts, after which a slight descent starts to the canal. The last part of the route follows the canal to the village again. The route is 18 km long.
