Description by the author

The caves of Lascaux are world famous with their prehistoric drawings. This 15 km walk is ideal for exploring the area around the caves. This hiking route starts in Montignac where parking is also provided. The first part goes through the fields and forests to the reservoir of Le Turançon. The second part goes entirely through wooded area up to the Doiran valley, where the last stretch to Montignac begins.
