Description by the author

This route starts in the pleasant town of Challans. It takes you through the mysterious landscape of the Vendée, which is characterized here by vast fields, separated by thousands of canals, so that the landscape consists of an enormous amount of mini islands. A highlight along the route is the Passage du Gois which connects the mainland with the Île de Noirmoutier. The route has a total length of 112km.
