This cycle route starts near the Butte de Montsec war memorial and takes you from there around the beautiful Lac de Madine, which is one of the most beautiful in France due to its rugged coastline. After that, you drive along quiet roads to the Castle of HattonChâtel, which is located at the top of a hill. Since this is halfway the route, you can perfectly pause here for a snack and a drink. Then you drive through extensive forests and along green fields to the starting point in the pleasant Montsec
