Already in 1062, the name Ogerium existed, which indicates a settlement with a feudal castle. The names of streets such as rue du Fort, rue des remparts and rue des Fossés remind us of this.
The original castle has disappeared and was located on the site of the current castle of Oger.
We walk along the most important buildings of Oger but also along several champagne growers. Oger is also a member of "Ville et Village Fleuris". Along the road you will regularly come across flower beds and flower boxes that are provided with the necessary explanations.
