High cliffs, white sandy beaches and a disparate landscape

At the top of Cap Blanc Nez, in the shadow of the obelisk, you dream far from the wide panorama. The bright white chalk line of the English coast shines in the morning sun. Giant container ships float: almost at hand. Then you descend the impressive chalk cliffs to the sea, a spectacular dive of about 133 m. You look for eccentric fossils and collect beautiful shells on the white sandy beach of Wissant and at the flobart you buy fresh fish.
You'll find remnants of a Roman past in a heavily hilly landscape where tiny villages hide in deep valleys from the dark northern winds. You climb the highest peaks from where you have the most beautiful panoramas and you sail along beautiful nature reserves. Tired, but thirsty, after this brisk walk, you can taste a 'les 2 Caps', a 'Blance de Wissant' or a 'Noire du Slack': spicy regional beers that are brewed close to the 'Caps'.
