Description by the author

There does not appear to be a way marked cycle path out of Dijon- and we did enquire at the tourist office.

We decided to carry on down the canal to Ouges and then cut across to Marsanny.

Very little traffic on the roads but we did have to negoiate one very bad junction.

The ride from Marsanny to Beaune is full of interest- the villlages and the vines!

We stayed in the Hotel Le Terminus- easy to find near the railway station.

Not a great meal and and would not recommend it.

If planning a tour give yourself plenty of time to see the sights- its a lovely town and the Hotel Dieu is an absolue must. It will make you forever grateful for the advances in Medicine.
