Description by the author

Followed the route of the Canal du Centre from St Leger to Paray Mondial.

Initially follwed the velo route but then took the D974.
An easy run and the traffic light- no problems.

Heather described the route as "uninspiring" but I enjoyed it in spite of the only rain we had on the tour.

Stayed at the hotel aux vendanges de bourgogne (seduced by the web photograph of the terrace). urned out to be more of a "yard" and they were not serving dinner because of the rain.

However we did have a really good meal-DB&B 136 Euro including wine.

After dinner walked into the town centre- excellent- all the major sights were flood lit- we thought it quite beautiful.
