Via Lac Pavin - Péalat - along the D36 towards Besse - stop at the "Cascade d'Anglar" easily reachable via a footpath, 10' descent to the Vaucoux river. Nice view from the wooden bridge of the waterfall and volcanic rock. 

Now continue to the medieval Besse! Recognized as "Petites Cités de Caractère" with picturesque houses of dark lava stone in narrow streets. After visiting this town, you ride further towards Lac Pavin (D978). 

For climbers, an extra trip to Super-Besse!
