Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a copy of the original. 'Henry V' was the first piece of Shakespeare's hand that was shozn here in 1588. The new Globe is an initiative of the American actor Sam Wanamaker. When he came to London 50 years ago, he was angry about the way the Londoners were dealing with their heritage of their greatest playwright. Unfortunately, he saw his lifelong dream not come true. He died in December 1993.
