Bingham is an English market town in the Rushcliffe borough of Nottinghamshire, 9 miles east of Nottingham, 11.7 miles south-west of Newark-on-Trent and 15 miles west of Grantham. The town had a population of 9,131 at the 2011 UK census .
Bingham lies near the junction of the A46 and the A52. The neighbouring communities are Radcliffe-on-Trent, East Bridgford, Car Colston, Scarrington, Aslockton, Whatton-in-the-Vale, Tithby and Cropwell Butler.
