Emerson Park Academy is a secondary school with academy status, located in the Hornchurch area of the London Borough of Havering, England. It is a mixed school with around one thousand children on roll for ages 11–16. It is situated just east of Emerson Park, between Hornchurch and Upminster. It is on the London Outer Orbital Path - the London LOOP, and just west of the Ingrebourne River. It lies in the parish of Hornchurch St Andrew].
It was established in 1943 during World War II, as Hornchurch County High School on Cedar Avenue in Upminster , becoming Hornchurch Grammar School on Wych Elm Road in 1954 when administered by the Essex Education Committee. On 13 April 1964, the Prime Minister gave a talk at the grammar school, and later in the year on 27 July the prime minister also visited the school.
