Seaford Golf Club is a golf club located in East Blatchington, England. The club was established in 1887 and was originally located at Seaford Head, before moving to its current location in 1907.
Seaford Golf Club's downland golf course was designed by J.H. Taylor. From the back tees, the total yardage is 6546 for all eighteen holes, with a par of 69 and a standard stroke index of 71. The third, seventh, twelfth and fifteenth hole are par 3's, the sixteenth hole is a par 5 and the rest are all par 4's. Due to the course being well above sea level, the wind often has a major effect.
Apart from stunning backdrops of the Downs and the English Channel, the course offers a stern test and has been regularly featured in many collections of the great courses of the country. It remains one of the most admired downland courses in the country and arguably the best in the South East of England.
