Ballogie is a rural community and an estate in the Lower Deeside area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Most of Ballogie lies within the parish of Birse, although the northern part extends into the parish of Aboyne and Glentanar.
The ancient name of the estate was Tillysnaught, and in 1650 belonged to a branch of the Roses of Kilravock. It passed afterwards to a Forbes, then the Innes and Farquharson families, before being sold to James Dyce Nicol . [after Alex Inkson McConnochie 'Deeside '].
