Portloe is a small village in Cornwall. It is situated on the Roseland Peninsula, within the civil parish of Veryan, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of the village of the same name. Portloe is also well known for its fantastic fishing, scenery, walks, and local history. It has easy access to St Mawes and other coastal towns. Portloe lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.
