Description

Standing some 60/70 yards (55 - 64 m) west of the visitors centre in The Wick Country Park is an FW3/28A pillbox in fine condition. This type of pillbox was built to house an artillery piece, in this case a 2-pounder (0.9 kg) anti-tank gun, plus bren guns firing from a separate chamber.
