In terms of fame, this tree is certainly worth a mention. According to legend, Isaac Newton sat under this apple tree and saw an apple fall. This would lead to the development of his theory of gravity. Numerous descendants of this apple tree can now be found in Trinity College, Cambridge , in the Cambridge University Botanic Garden , and in the Instituto Balseiro library garden in Argentina. But this is where the original apple tree is supposed to be.
