The Old Village of Lawers is located on the north shore of Loch Tay. Something strange is going on with this village. Here the ghost of the Lady of Lawers is said to roam the ancient ruins of the village. Legend has it that under the ancient remains lies her former home, and she is said to still wander there. The Lady of Lawers was a 17th century fortune teller who made some remarkable predictions that later came true. She foresaw the arrival of trains and “smoke-driven ships”. In 2021, the village itself was put up for sale for a mere 146,000 euros, including spirit.
