Here is the fictional grave of the beloved character Dobby from the Harry Potter series. The beautiful beach is burdened by tourism. The fictional grave is strewn with pebbles (with messages to Dobby) and socks. It is with a sock that Harry Potter rescues Dobby from Master Lucius Malfoy. "Dobby has no master. Dobby is a free elf" Dobby says when wizard Harry Potter frees him from slavery. Fans therefore decided years ago to honor Dobby with a grave located in the dunes, as in the film series. Disstrand is also the filming location used in two Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2.
