You can expect everything along this route: climbing, descending and beautiful spots to take a break! This is a route along paved roads. Don't just pass by this church (Church of St Mary and St Michael), but stop and enjoy an imposing construction. Enjoy the story this castle has to tell. A stop worthy. There are some passages along nature, water and sights. This tour takes you along some nice places, including River Grizedale. Relax and enjoy. A great route! My score: 9 (out of 10). Almost forgot to mention Trough of Bowland. A nice break.
