Explore Somerton and go for a ride. You'll find several great cycling routes in Glastonbury Lake Village, including this tour. There are some tough climbs along this route (but trained cyclist will probably be laughing at this). Fully paved roads along this route. There is little (no) chance you will be seeing cars along this route. Train station Wells East Somerset railway station is located along this route. Stay cool during a summer ride with a stop a this church (Church of St Peter and St Paul) (if opened). Certainly stop at Rowdens Road Cricket Ground before getting on the road again. You will certainly be charmed by this route. If I had to summarize this route: a nice ride for an experienced cyclist.
