This cycling route near Portholland gives a good image of its surroundings. This is a route along paved roads. There is little (no) chance you will be seeing cars along this route. You can start this route everywhere, but this castle (Caerhays Castle) is certainly a good place to start. This route is fitted for all seasons. The water of River Fal (and its landscape) is always different. No need to worry. Not many places to stop for a drink along this route, but there are some. Don't forget to stop at St Goran.
