London to Canterbury Pilgrims’ Way wich follows the Thames, then visits Greenwich Park, heading out through the suburbs to Gravesend and onward to the Medway towns, where the Saxon Shore is briefly followed, continuing via Faversham to reach Canterbury Cathedral, location of the Shrine to Thomas Becket.
