A circular tour between the Simonside hills and the Cheviots from Rothbury to Whittington and Alwinton.

To enjoy the wonderful views pick a day with good visibilty and aviod days with strong westerly winds.

Route can be shortened to 27 miles (43 Km) by going through Netherton- taking the signpost to Scrainwood.
