Little fairytale tour in the Hebrides
The second hike consists of a tour of Mull, the third largest island in the Hebrides and an excursion to the island of Iona, much smaller, but still full of religiosity. In other words: from the pier of Oban to that of Tobermory. It sounds like a stereotype, and it is: Mull is synonymous with untouched nature, a lot of untouched nature. It all starts on the ferry between Oban and Craignure. The décor is simply fabulous, especially on a clear day. The south and east are the most mountainous. With its 998 m, Ben More is the most majestic, a real oasis for enthusiasts of walking, climbing and fishing. Duart Castle is a historical treasure not to be missed. If you prefer white beaches, make a stop at Calgary Bay. The next stop is nearby Dervaig. The small port town of Tobermory closes the route in a very colourful way.
