Description

Vathi is split in two parts on both sides of the church, The connection is made by a very nice and small corridor under the houses connected to the church. It provides a fresh shelter for the burning sun. Check out the material used for the roof. This looks like bamboo but is called Arundi donax. As bamboo, it is a kind of long grass that grows here in the valley of Vathi and in many other moist valleys in Greece.
