Sifnos has plenty of nice and historical walking paths linking the picturesque villages and churches. It makes Sifnos the ideal island for tranquil hikes. To maintain this unique cultural heritage of the island, the project "Paths of Culture" was set up in 1972, a project of ELLENIKI ETAIRIA. This Society for the Environment & Cultural Heritage in cooperation with the Municipality of Sifnos and with the involvement of local schools, local cultural organizations and volunteers, implemented this project "Paths of Culture" by carefully selecting and signposting a series of walks, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the local products and the island's natural beauty in a healthy and eco-friendly way.
