Analipsis is located about five kilometers from Hersonissos in the department of Heraklion on Crete. It is a friendly and quiet village, where a lot of tourists come in the summer. There is a small old village center, around which there are mainly modern buildings; apartments, shops, hotels and restaurants. A cozy village square provides the Greek atmosphere. There are many restaurants and mini markets and a number of cafes, there are no large discotheques, for that you have to go to Hersonssos. There is a fairly quiet sandy beach, with clear water, where there are rocks at the bottom.
