Cycling from the Groznjan square we come up to Peroj and turn right to the Parenzana trail. Following the directions before Triban turn right and arrive to the main road Buje-Groznjan. Continue left and after 100 meters turn right to the macadam path leading to the Saint Florijan church. Ride left and before coming to the village of Marusici left to the macadam path going uphill to Vrhnjak and Dugo Brdo. Once arrived to Dugo Brdo turn right and then downhill through Kubertoni and Buzleti to Donja Gomila. Here we turn left to the main road Buje-Oprtalj continuing to Sterna. After one kilometre we arrive to the macadam path going to Saint Ivan. Here we turn right and through a beautiful valley we reach Makovci. Continuing towards Zavrsje in the village Mlin turn right and then immediately after 200 m left to the macadam road leading to Groznjan passing Sain Juraj and Kalcin.

What to visit The gallery road starts in Groznjan, town of artists and centre of the International Music Youth centre. Here you will discover numerous art galleries and among them the praised town gallery Fonticus. Apart from resting your soul, in Groznjan you will be able to do so with your body by tasting truffles, wine, rakija (grappa) and honey in one of many agro tourism households. Those who fall in love with Groznjan at first sight, and such are many, can afford a longer stay and rent accommodation in the old town core within one of little streets that enchant positive and vibrant energy.

Riding further along the Parenzana road, a bike trail named after the old railway from the Austro-Hungarian times passing through Istria. This road leads us through a tick forest Kornarija all the way to Marusici where you can visit a Sculpture Park with operas made by authors from all around the world. Continue riding through the abandoned village Vrhnjak arriving to Dugo Brdo which can be easily named a lookout due to its beautiful view point stretching to all four sides of the world. On the way to Oprtalj you will have the opportunity to discover sculpture pieces made by Mother Nature that has played a bit with this landscape leading you to Zavrsje and back to arty Groznjan.
