Along the cliffs of Clare Island

Small foot springs sail daily to the Isle of Clare. This trip starts in the harbor northwards to the small lighthouse on the tip of the island. From here the spectacular path starts along the cliffs of the pounding ocean. The wind, rain, sun and sheep have free rein here. From the beginning you can already see Mount Knockmore. The path goes up and down firmly and your condition is firmly challenged on the climb at the end. The view above is breathtaking in all corners of the world. From here you can descend a bit improvised through the sloping meadows towards the south. Back on the road, the route slowly goes back to the harbor and you can taste the rural quiet life of the islanders. Check the hours of the ferry in advance!
