Cross Blue Loop

Start from the roundabout in the centre of Belmullet town, and take the R313. Turn left after 600 m to stay on R313. After 4.9 km, turn right to continue on for 2.1 km, then take a slight turn to the right and arrive at the trailhead after approximately 1 km. The total distance is 8.6 km.

The Cross Loop Walks near Binghamstown (An Geata Mor) offer a choice of two loops, green and blue. The Cross Loop walks are beautiful coastal trails, both starting at the small car park beside Cross Abbey at the head of the beach at Cross Point. The islands of Inis Gé and Inis Gluaire are visible from the shoreline.
